Washington Elementary held their All-School Awards today! Students were recognized with certificates for attendance achievements and progress in iReady and Lexia. Second graders also delivered a presentation on solving problems with technology, highlighting inventions that have helped millions of people around the world. Important Notice: Due to the half day scheduled for staff development and the prospect of more snow tomorrow, all West Haven Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. This will give the city additional time to clean bus stops and plow roads for those who are still snowed in. With this decision, we expect a full day of school on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Additional updates will be provided as they become available.
