Important Notice: Due to the half day scheduled for staff development and the prospect of more snow tomorrow, all West Haven Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. This will give the city additional time to clean bus stops and plow roads for those who are still snowed in. With this decision, we expect a full day of school on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Washington's 4th graders had a special visit from Mayor Borer and guests from The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station. Students learned all about insects and explored the history of bees, including which species call Connecticut home. Such an awesome hands‑on learning experience! 🐝📚
