Washington Elementary School celebrated its 4th Grade Graduation today! Principal Limosani and the 4th grade teachers shared heartfelt reflections on the school year before students were called up to receive their certificates. The ceremony concluded with a special video celebrating this memorable milestone. We are so proud of all of our 4th graders and will miss them as they move on to Carrigan Intermediate School next year. Congratulations and best of luck on your next adventure! 🎓💛🎉

Today’s annual district-wide 4th Grade Field Day at Painter Park gave students the chance to enjoy tug-of-war, relay races, dodgeball, and plenty of other exciting activities. After a year of hard work, it was a well-earned day of fun and memories for all. We hope everyone had an amazing time! ☀️🎉

An amazing evening took place at Washington Elementary School as students showcased their talents during the annual art show and 4th grade choir concert. From colorful artwork filling the halls to the wonderful musical performances on stage, the event highlighted the creativity and hard work of so many students. Families and staff left the night impressed by everything the students accomplished and all should feel incredibly proud of their efforts 🎨🎤💙
Students at Washington were treated to an engaging visit today from Kayla and Nick of the Connecticut Science Center. They led exciting, hands-on demonstrations that helped students explore the science of air and bubbles in a fun and interactive way. The energy and curiosity they brought into each presentation made for a memorable learning experience. We truly appreciate Kayla and Nick for spending the day inspiring our students! 🫧🎈

Students at Washington Elementary welcomed families and guests today for the school’s annual Author’s Circle celebration. Throughout the event, students shared original stories and writing pieces they created in class, giving everyone a chance to hear their creativity and hard work shine through. We are incredibly proud of the effort put into each piece and the confidence students showed while presenting their work today. Great job to everyone involved! 📖👏
Fourth grade students from across West Haven Public Schools visited WHHS for a special performance presented by the Theatre Workshop. The show featured beloved fairytale stories and was enjoyed by all. The Theatre Workshop students did an outstanding job creating a fun and exciting experience for the visiting students. 🎭✨
