Washington students enjoyed a successful book fair over three days, with over 340 students taking home at least 15 books each! 📚✨ Mrs. Parades and the WHHS Peer Advocates ensured the event featured donations from New Haven Reads, along with bookmarks, fun pencils, and prizes. 🎉 The students expressed their gratitude for the support received! 🙏😊







Registration Now Open for Summer Camps!
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the Bud Conlan Summer Street Hockey League and the Blue Devil Summer Soccer League! These camps are available for students in grades K-8 and will run from June 16th to July 11th. Please note that there will be NO CAMP on July 3rd and 4th.
Soccer will have two daily sessions on the Turf Field at West Haven High School: 8:30-11:00 AM and 11:15 AM-1:30 PM. Street Hockey will have one session each day at Bennett Rink from 8:30-11:00 AM.

Earlier this week United Way volunteers from UNH and the community visited Washington School to share their love of reading with students and also share what they do in the community. All volunteers stressed to students how important it is to read every day and work hard in school!




West Haven will activate its extreme cold weather protocol Noon on Sunday, 1/19, offering the city's 2 libraries as warming centers during normal daytime hours. The city’s new warming center at 689 Campbell Ave. will also be available. The protocol is expected to end Noon on Thursday 1/23, when Gov.
