The West Haven boys’ basketball team at the CIAC State Tournament press conference today! The No. 12 Blue Devils play No. 2 Windsor in the CIAC Division II State Championship Game this Saturday, March 16th at Mohegan Sun! Tip-off is scheduled for 8:15 pm.

West Haven High School has a new partnership with the Greater New Haven Chamber Workforce Development Program and yesterday, juniors and seniors sat through presentations in the new lecture hall for the first phase of a four-phase program. The presentations that students listened to yesterday were from Sara Kernizan of Yale Health (Healthcare), Ashley Anthony and Luis Cruz from Times Microwave Systems (Manufacturing), and Orlando Yarborough, a program director for the ConnCats Biolaunch training program. We’d like to give a big thank you to all our guest speakers, as well as Anne Benowitz, who oversees the Economic Development and Workforce Initiative through the New Haven Chamber, for setting up the presentation!
