What Makes My School Special: Everyone who works at Washington wants to be here. The dedication that the teachers and staff have to our students is truly special and is what has kept me here all of these years.

About: I have my master’s in education from the University of Hartford. This is my second year teaching special education. Before teaching, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting students with autism.
Fun Fact: I also have a master’s degree in sports communication and media.

Favorite Part About the Job: My students motivate me to come to work each day. I truly enjoy working with younger students, and every little goal they accomplish makes me so happy. What makes our school special is our inclusivity. The school makes it a point to ensure all students are included.
