This will give the city additional time to clean bus stops and plow roads for those who are still snowed in. With this decision, we expect a full day of school on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Carrigan’s January Academic Assembly was a big success. Lexia Allstars and iReady ticket winners were recognized with gift cards for their dedication and hard work. Clusters J and E earned this month’s trophy. Our social workers and school counselors shared an inspiring message on self responsibility. Three students with perfect attendance also earned a spin on the Wheel of Perfect Attendance. 🎉🏆📚

Yesterday, Carrigan hosted its 5th & 6th Grade Spelling Bee, and our students truly spelled success! Every participant showed courage and determination as they took the stage. In fifth grade, Ornella claimed first place, followed by Alijah in second and Naomi in third. Sixth grade champions were Tiana in first, Kylie in second, and Michael in third. Congratulations to all our winners and a huge round of applause to every speller for giving their very best!
