Maria

She is a fourth-grade teacher at Pagels and has taught in West Haven for 31 years, working with grades 1–4. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son, and her favorite hobbies include quilting, reading, and painting.

She has been at Pagels for 18 years and owned a private preschool, an experience that inspired her passion for early childhood special education. She loves supporting her littles and their families. Outside of school, she enjoys yoga, pickleball, her grandson, and the beach.

She has been teaching in West Haven for 30 years and is currently a 2nd grade teacher at Pagels School. She previously taught grades 3–5 at Washington. She enjoys kickboxing, baking, reading, walking her dogs, and loves playing yard games with her family.

She has been teaching for 18 years, starting in 5th grade at Forest and spending the last 15 years teaching 3rd grade at Pagels. She enjoys time with family and friends and cheering on her son, and loves country music. She loves connecting with the school community.
